Humans are brave and noble soldiers, having been attacked at the return of the other races, they had no choice but to fight for their survival in the great war. Denying the Elvish claim that Humans had taken the Earth from them, they banded together for a common purpose, to destroy all who wish them harm. In order for the Human race to fight on even ground against magic users and mythical beasts they were forced to upgrade and weaponize their bodies using cybernetics and advanced technologies. This adaptation has allowed the Humans to become an imposing force of advanced weaponry, vehicles, and armor. Now during the time of the Rising Dawn Peace Treaty, the Human race stands as a beacon of truth, justice and righteous power.
In their homeland of Neogard, the Humans have a strong militaristic government. Their hierarchy consists of Residents, Volunteers and Officers. Residents are non military people whose sole function is to continue the human race by raising families. Volunteers are those residents who have chosen the honorable and glorious path to become part of the military complex. Volunteers loyally serve for a minimum of five years to earn the right to choose their path. Officers are those brave and prestigious volunteers who continue their service in the military complex rewarded with a title and granted the ability to shape the future of the human race.

Race Perception
Humans are proud to be a part of a strong military government who saved them from the onslaught of the savage and brutal lesser races.
Elves are treacherous, duplicitous and back stabbing. They present themselves as a shining light of civility but are no better than a snake waiting to strike and destroy our very existence. Above all else, dealings with the Elves should be assumed as a prelude to an attack.
Orcs are savage and disgusting barbarians with which no reason or rationality can be achieved. While Orcs have no pretense to who they are, unlike the pompous Elves, they will sooner split your skull than give you the time of day.
Dwarves hide in their mountains, presumably building and plotting their attack on the Human race. While we have very few dealings with Dwarves, we do know that their history with the Elves make them untrustworthy.
Mutants are nothing more than urban legends, stories told to keep people from wandering into the wasteland alone. Even if Mutants were real, they would be no match for our mighty military power. Although, there is a standing order to not enter the Wasteland with less than a garrison of support.

The first known Mutant sighting came just after the Rising Dawn Treaty was signed, a small band of unknown beings hiding in the wastelands, scavenging the remains from the final battle. There have yet to be any major sightings, only stories, they are the monsters that live in the dark, ready to devour you and your children.
The Humans believe that they are the remains of misused magic by the Orcs to create a silent but effective assassin. The Elves believe they were made through Human dna tampering. the Orcs believe the Dwarves used their rune magic to curse the inhabitants of the wastelands. And the Dwarves believe the Elves again attempted to make the perfect warrior through their magics.
The fact is much darker than any of that, and is only known to a handful of the mutant elders and they’re not telling. Let the other races believe what they want, blame who they want.
All the other races think that if the Mutants are real that they are merely savages roaming the wastelands in pacts, but in fact they are technologically advanced, learning to use Human technology, Dwarven steam power, Elven horticulture, and Orcs fighting techniques, living in vast cities beneath the sands. How the Mutants learned all of these techniques was through spies, hiding and living amongst the various races using their shape shifting and psionic abilities to study each of the races.
