Elves are the benevolent and wise defenders of nature and it’s inhabitants. After the return, where the Elves protected and saved all of the worlds children, they found the Human pestilence had pillaged their homelands and claimed false ownership over their once majestic world. Requiring to reset the balance they used their great magics to right the damage that had been done in their absence. The Humans unable to comprehend the necessity of the natural order of things misunderstood the Elvish Gift of Harmony as an intentional slight. Although the Humans initial strike was unexpected and took it’s toll, the Elves managed to raise arms and fight back against the cancer that is the Human race. Utilizing the gifts bestowed upon them by the Living Light, the Elves were able to push back the Humans, once natural creatures of the world, now twisted and vile abominations perverted by their science. Thanks to the Rising Dawn Peace Treaty, the Elves have been re-established as the rightful custodians of the natural world, attempting to bring back order and harmony.
The Elves are elite, and therefore seek to conquer and rule, to bring order to all. They live in the Kingdom of Euraea, a heavily forested area and are ruled by the High Council of Elder Elves. Whenever an Elf is gifted to the world through the Living Light, they receive a calling that helps promote balance within the Elvish Order. This calling provides each Elf with purpose, position and status among their community. While socially and physically capable, the elves excel in mental and magical tasks. They have elevated themselves above their ancestors and no longer partake in degrading physical interaction.
Elves are the sacred keepers of Dracova Island, the floating Land of the Dragons. Creating a bond with the powerful and majestic Dragons, Elves can ride and utilize the awesome power of these noble creatures.

Race Perception
Elves are the natural born rulers due to their enlightened wisdom and noble sacrifices in order to maintain the balance of the natural world.
Humans are perverse abominations who are no better than wild animals rutting in the mud. It’s advisable to never find yourself alone among them.
Orcs are dimwitted, slow, savage beings that have squandered their natural gifts to revel in their own brutal tendencies. Even though the Orcs create a strong tribal bond and rarely speak falsely, they are not to be trusted with peace.
Dwarves are imposing craftsmen that rely to heavily on their mechanical creations. Unsocial and rude, they are neither to be trusted or ignored.
Mutants are nothing more than a childish, foolish story.

During a great golden age, some 375 million years ago, the Elves ruled over all the land, often times being challenged by other races such as the Orcs. They were sophisticated and in tune with nature, embracing their magical nature and befriending the Drakes and Dragons that ruled the skies. But then nature turned on it’s inhabitants. The Orcs came to the Elves with a message of doom. Their swamplands had began to flood due to massive volcanic eruptions in the oceans, making the seas rise to cover the land. The Elves agreed to investigate this, but in the process they discovered species of plant life began to evolve rapidly, releasing high amounts of Carbon Dioxide into the air, causing a terrible freeze of most life. The Dwarves then found a comet that was heading towards Earth, and brought this information to the Elves and Orcs. Not only would they drown and freeze, but they would burn as well. As a last ditch effort the Elves, Orcs and Dwarves along with several smaller races banded together to try and escape. Creating a magical field of energy they slipped out of time moments before the comet impact, the magic left the world with all magical beings. To the magical beings, only moments had passed till they returned in modern times, to find the Earth infested by man. The Elves quickly stepped forward and took charge by stating they reclaimed the Earth as the rightful rulers.
The Humans saw this as an act of war and retaliated against the Elves. The Orcs saw this as a chance to destroy their long time enemies and joined them in the attack. The Dwarves, as well as the other races, retreated to the mountains to plan their own defenses against the other races, refusing to bow to the Elves or the Humans. The Elven King Telperien held nothing back. Releasing everything on the Humans and Orcs alike.
King Telperien: “We are the first born and the master race, none deserve to come before us!”
When the war looked won, the humans rallied together and using their technology began to counter everything that the Elves could throw at them, effectively creating a stalemate. The war, now known as the Scorched Earth War, lasted nearly 100 years before the final battle that witnessed all four races on the battlefield in what was now being called the wastelands that once was magnificent cities, majestic mountains and lush forests. Now it was a desolate wasteland, destroyed by magic and technology combined. It was during this final battle that a lone cloaked figure emerged and kidnapped the leader of the Elves, Humans, Orcs and Dwarves and took them to an unknown location. No one knows exactly what was told to them, but it was rumored that this figure showed each of them what would happen if they continued their war. When the leaders returned, all sides stood down and began talks of peace.
King Telperien: “This war has hurt all of the races, but none so much as our Mother Gaia, and for that we shall strive to heal her, all of us, together.”
Seeing the destruction that both sides had caused, a truce was made between the Humans, Elves, Orcs and Dwarves in order to ensure the worlds survival. Known as the Rising Dawn Treaty, all combatants in the war went to their own parts of Earth, now being called New Terra. Since the treaty, no war has broken out between the races, there has been skirmishes between certain factions on both side, but always dealt with by their own kind.
The Elves claimed their land as the Kingdom of Euraea, but their rest was short lived as what was once Europe, now the home of the dragons, began to rise from the ocean into the sky, threatening to wipe out their race. But thanks to the newly formed alliance, the Humans and Dwarves joined with the Elves to combine the magic and technology to tether the island to Euraea, creating a floating island above them, now known as the Dragon Isles.
The Elves are very pompous and believe themselves the rightful rulers of the world due to their connection with nature and their immortality. The Elves government is a Monarchy, and there is very little rising in the ranks beyond a Commander. They are fierce elementalists and uncanny archers. Very few Elves strive to become more physical than that, but the few that do tend to excel at their chosen profession.
The Elves have become more an ally with the humans and the Orcs have went back to their old ways in hating anything that is not them, primarily their cousins the Elves.
